WoWPth 2.0 is available on the WordPress plugins repository.

WoWPth was designed as a plugin for WordPress that lets users create themes and manage theirs structure in an easy and interactive way.

WoWPth 2.0 has added a greater freedom in creating the page layout allowing users to design the layout of theirs themes from scratch.

Sometimes a WordPress plugin needs to use some WP core functions that should have been supported in themes. This means that some special functionalities had to be added in the functions.php file of the theme.

This is the case of the has_post_thumbnail function: a lot of plugins use this function to show post thumbnails: if a theme doesn’t support it then Wordpress generates a “Call to undefined function has_post_thumbnail()” error.

YSlider is a content slider for Wordpress inspired by the look and feel of one of the coolest widget on the home page of Yahoo!. YSlider can be downloaded on the Wordpress Plugins Repository: download page.

YSlider automatically displays the first image inside the post or page for each item in the widget and takes care to adapt it to the right width size for the main image and to generate the relative thumbnail in the carousel.
