I have completed my Laurea Degree in Engineering in 2001, and my Phd in Computer Science in 2005, both at University of Florence, with a short period at Boston University.
I've been working as a post-doctorate in the group of Professor Alberto Del Bimbo, until december 2006. I'm currently running Magenta, a small software engineering studio in Florence. I'm also affiliated with the Multimedia Integration and Communication Center (MICC), and with the Master in Multimedia, where i'm teaching the Processing programming language. My research interests are in multimedia and related fields, such as computer vision, computer graphics, pattern recognition, and machine learning.
