Long Bio
Tiberio Uricchio received his master degree cum laude in computer engineering from the University of Florence in 2012 with the thesis “Learning to tag images”. Currently he is a PhD candidate pending final defense, at the Visual Information and Media Lab of the Media Integration and Communication Center at the University of Florence, Italy, under the supervision of Prof. Alberto Del Bimbo and Prof. Marco Bertini. His research interests include image and video understanding, social media analysis and machine learning. He is a teaching assistant for the course of “Visual and Multimedia Recognition” course of Prof. Alberto Del Bimbo. He also co-supervised several Master thesis.
