3DOR’22 will be held in Florence, Italy, on September 1st and 2nd, 2022 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Symposium will be held in a hybrid mode (both in person and remote attendance will be possible). However, we encourage in person participation to the 3DOR. After two-years of remote events, we expect to make 3DOR 2022 an opportunity to meet again in person. The pandemic situation is under control in Italy with a low rate of new cases. All touristic attractions and public places are accessible without any restrictions. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

About 3DOR<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

3DOR is the dedicated workshop series for methods, applications and benchmark-based evaluation of 3D object retrieval, classification, and similarity-based object processing. In 2022, the 3DOR will be organized as a Symposium with the ambition to attract a larger number of participants. The symposium also includes the 2022 edition of the 3D Shape Retrieval Challenge (SHREC), keynotes, project presentations, and a social and networking event. Accepted full papers will be published in Computers & Graphics Journal<\/a> (Elsevier), and accepted short papers will appear in the Eurographics Digital Library<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About SHREC<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Shape Retrieval Challenge is an initiative to help encourage the development of datasets and techniques to evaluate the performance of shape retrieval methods. Since its origin in 2006, SHREC has expanded and has welcomed related evaluative works on classification, correspondence, and segmentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
