Long Bio
Claudio Ferrari received his Master’s degree cum laude in Computer Engineering and his PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Florence in 2014 and 2018, respectively.
He was a visiting research scholar at the IRIS Lab, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, under the supervision of Prof. Gérard Medioni, from March to September 2014.
He subsequently worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Media Integration and Communication Center (MICC), University of Florence. His research interests focused on computer vision, 3D vision and deep learning, particularly in-the-wild face recognition, statistical 3D face modelling and single-view 3D face reconstruction.
He is currently Tenure-track Assistant Professor (RTT) at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Florence.
