Long Bio
Francesco Marchetti was born in Montevarchi in 1992. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florence in 2016 with the thesis “Application of Branch and Bound method to Semi-Supervised Learning”.
In 2019, he received a Master’s degree cum laude in Computer Engineering from the University of Florence with the thesis “Trajectories Prediction for Autonomous Driving with Memory Networks”, developed in collaboration with the research institute Imra Europe.
He subsequently worked as a Research Fellow at the Media Integration and Communication Center (MICC), University of Florence, under the supervision of Prof. Alberto Del Bimbo. His research focused on trajectory forecasting in the automotive field, with particular attention to autonomous driving and memory-based approaches.
He is currently a Visiting PhD Student at EPFL Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland.
