Girolamo Macaluso Reinforcement

PhD Student and research fellow at Media Integration and Communication Center (MICC) at the University of Florence, under the supervision of Prof. Andrew D. Bagdanov.

Girolamo Macaluso was born in Prato in 1999. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florence in 2021. In 2023, he became one of the first graduates of the master’s program in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Florence, completing his thesis titled “Enhancing Offline Reinforcement Learning with Generative World Models.”

He is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Florence, where his research focuses on Reinforcement Learning and its real-world applications. His work aims to improve the stability and efficiency of RL algorithms in practical scenarios.
