Alberto Baldrati Machine Learning and Computer Vision

PhD Student and research fellow at Media Integration and Communication Center (MICC) at the University of Florence, under the supervision of Prof. Marco Bertini

Alberto Baldrati was born in Firenze (FI) on May 16th 1997. He received his bachelor’s degree cum laude in computer engineering from the University of Florence in 2019 with the thesis “Video recognition of soccer actions using recurrent neural network”.

Later, in 2021, he received his master degree cum laude in computer engineering from the University of Florence with the thesis “Deep Learning techniques for image retrieval using joint textual and visual encoders”.

Currently he is a PhD Student and research fellow at Media Integration and Communication Center (MICC) at the University of Florence, under the supervision of Prof. Marco Bertini.

His main interests are Computer Vision and Machine Learning, with specific focus on multitask techniques in text conditioned image retrieval.
