Long Bio
Andrea Salvi was born in Montevarchi on February 28, 1989. He received a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florence in April 2016, with the thesis “Compact Hash Codes for Efficient Visual Descriptors Retrieval”.
He worked as a Research Fellow at the Media Integration and Communication Center (MICC) at the University of Florence, under the supervision of Prof. Alberto Del Bimbo and Prof. Marco Bertini. His main research interests are data structures based on hashing techniques for image retrieval systems and video surveillance tasks.
He currently works as Full Stack Engineer at Verizon Connect IT.
