Long Bio
Federico Bartoli received his Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Florence. He was a PhD candidate at the Media Integration and Communication Center (MICC), where he completed his PhD in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition under the supervision of Prof. Alberto Del Bimbo.
His research interests included computer vision and pattern recognition, with particular attention to pedestrian detection and person re-identification. He worked with state-of-the-art person re-identification descriptors for the enhancement of museum visitor experiences through personalised multimedia content delivery. He also worked on fast detection strategies for surveillance and critical scenarios.
He is currently AI & Computer Vision Specialist, Senior Software Developer and Embedded Solutions specialist at Luce5 – The Art of Lighting.
