Long Bio
Leonardo Galteri was born in Florence on August 9th, 1986. He received a master degree cum laude in computer engineering from the University of Florence in 2014. He received his PhD degree from the University of Florence in 2018 defending the thesis “Deep learning for detection in compressed videos and images” under the supervision of Prof. Alberto Del Bimbo.
Currently he is a PostDoc researcher at the Media Integration and Communication Center. His research interests are Computer Vision, Deep Learning and Image/Video Restoration, mostly focused on compression artifact removal and super-resolution.
