Long Bio
Leonardo Galteri received his Master’s degree cum laude in Computer Engineering from the University of Florence in 2014. He received his PhD from the University of Florence in 2018 with the thesis “Deep learning for detection in compressed videos and images”, under the supervision of Prof. Alberto Del Bimbo.
He worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Media Integration and Communication Center (MICC). His research interests focused on Computer Vision, Deep Learning and Image/Video Restoration, with particular attention to compression artifact removal and super-resolution.
He is currently Co-Founder and Head Engineer at Small Pixels.
