Long Bio
Riccardo Del Chiaro was born in Florence on October 6, 1991. He received a Master’s Degree cum laude in Computer Engineering from the University of Florence in 2017, with the thesis “Webly and Folksonomically Supervised Joint Embeddings for Zero-shot, Multimodal Access to Cultural Heritage Content”.
He was a PhD Student at the Media Integration and Communication Center (MICC) at the University of Florence, under the supervision of Prof. Andrew D. Bagdanov. His main research interests are Machine Learning and Computer Vision, with a focus on Zero-Shot Learning and a growing interest in Few-Shot Learning and Meta-Learning in general.
He currently works as Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Qualcomm in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
