3Dmd face system
This 3D scanner is outfitted with multiple machine vision CCD cameras mounted at fixed angles and distances, capturing overlapping views of the face and head. The entire capture process occurs in less than 2 milliseconds and results in the creation of a dense 3D point-cloud that conforms to the geometry of the face. For visualization purposes, the point-cloud can be connected to produce a 3D mesh and color/texture information can be mapped onto the underlying geometry allowing for photorealistic rendering.
3D printer
A large Gimax3D S1 double extruder 3D printer is available. It can print 300x250x250 mm objects, at a maximum speed of 150mm/s.
